Thoughtfully handcrafted in Japan, they echo the original frames worn by Faithfull herself in June 1967 during the court proceedings involving Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. Defined by their sculptural volume and refined silhouette, the design channels a quiet strength and effortless sophistication. The ‘Monday Monday’ colourway takes its name from the 1966 track by The Mamas & the Papas, later covered by Faithfull on her 1987 compilation “Marianne Faithfull's Greatest Hits.” Crafted from polished black plant-based acetate with custom double-laminated temples, sepia-tinted lenses, and 18k dark gold-plated metal accents, this frame is a tribute to timeless artistry and bold character.
LIMITED PRODUCTION BATCH OF 250 PIECES
Crafted from 10mm cured cellulose acetate in a polished black finish, the frame features custom double-laminated temples with sleek black exteriors and tortoise-patterned interiors, paired with sepia Armorlite 4-base lenses treated with backside anti-reflective coating. Subtle luxury is expressed through hidden cantilever wirecores and custom stainless steel 7-barrel hinges, both plated in 18k dark gold and adorned with finely engraved Art Deco detailing.
Italian-handcrafted leather case, microfiber cleaning cloth/pocket square, hard-shelled silk fabric-covered packaging, and letterhead press certificate with limited edition serial number and craftsmen's signature. Made in Japan. Model code: JMMMF-K31
