The former architect and engineer Virgil Abloh and Off-White's Eyewear team took the notions and development of a high fashion brand to a another level. Based in Milan, the creative office has absorbed and transformed the heritage of the Italian craftsmanship from a contemporary, global perspective on design and trends to create a collection that is the coherent extension of the Off-White™ aesthetic in the Eyewear world.
The latest collection titled “Embracing the Opposite” is a metaphorical invitation to play with unique accessories that are different from the norm and to embrace different aspects of our personalities everyday. All the styles are genderless and the color propositions range from the iconic nuances of the eyewear sector, black and havana, to fun and pop shades like red, blue, pink and crystal options.
The Off-White™ sunglasses are Made in Italy in acetate, metal or combining the two materials; the logo is either engraved either it appears in the form of an arrow with ivy leaves realized in metal and applied on both temples. In the new Spring Summer 2023 collection, Off-White™ introduces their logo in a 3D light metal, a detail that makes every style elegant.
You will also find a range of Off-White™ glasses and optical frames in a range of bold colors and styles. The collection is available also in “Asian fit” and have blue block lenses. The optical frames have specially crafted lenses meant to block / filter out blue light given off from digital screens, they also represent the perfect accessory for those who do not need prescription glasses and simply enjoy their look but with the right protection.
